Two outspoken critics of the vaccine mandates, Alex Berenson and Robert Malone , exchanged Substacks. Malone wrote “Bushwacked by Alex Berenson” and Berenson wrote “The Daily Beast asked me to comment about the Fox Interview last night".
a. Berenson claimed of Malone “I don’t think he does himself or those of us who are trying to raise questions about he vaccines any favors when he refers to himself as the inventor of mRNA technology…”
Berenson is incorrect. Yes, Malone’s claim does sound grandiose since there obviously were other inventors of the mRNA vaccine. But that is the scientific/engineering standard when referring to an invention. One of the inventors of a technology usually refers to him/herself as THE inventor.
b. Berenson also states: “…and I don’t think he does us any favors when he says ivermectin has been proven to work. I think that’s a huge overstatement of the case.”
Berenson seems to imply that further studies on ivermectin in COVID-19 are needed. He is entitled to his opinion but his statement is on a sensitive medical topic and needs to be substantiated. He needs to provide his review/assessment of the ivermectin literature or state the authority that he relies on.
