NIH, FDA and CDC betrayed the country
The sophisticated campaign of disinformation against the american people
“NIH’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge … to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce illness and disability.”
“FDA is responsible for protecting the public health …”
“CDC works 24/7 to protect America from health, safety and security threats, both foreign and in the U.S.”
The mission statements from the agencies harken back to a time when they were the pride and joy of the United States. They were looked to from around the world for setting the standards in science and public health policy. Those days, however, are gone. Those agencies are now a public menace.
From the FDA “You are not a horse” tweet to the CDC statement that “COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective” to the NIH fake-consensus non-recommendation of ivermectin, these public health authorities have betrayed the country. Far from fulfilling their missions, they have conducted campaigns of disinformation against the people.
“You are not a horse”
On August 21, 2021, the FDA made the following public announcement: “You are not a horse. You are not a cow. Seriously, y’all. Stop it.” The announcement, which was made on Twitter, was accompanied by a picture of a health care worker attending to a horse. The “it” in the announcement referred to the use of ivermectin in COVID-19.
The FDA has vast authority for the control of drugs in the United States. However, that authority is limited to approval, emergency use authorization and post-market safety monitoring. The Tweet was based on none of the above authorities. It was simply the disparagement of a drug. Further, the Tweet deceived the public by implying that ivermectin is not meant for human use.
At the time that FDA was disparaging the use of a drug for COVID-19, they freely admitted that they hadn’t even looked at the evidence:
“The FDA has not reviewed data to support use of ivermectin in COVID-19 patients to treat or to prevent COVID-19 …”.
At a decisive moment in the pandemic, the FDA went rogue. More than that, it treated the pandemic as a joke. Truly a crime against humanity.
“insufficient data to recommend either for or against … ivermectin”
The NIH recommendation on ivermectin begins:
“The COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel (the Panel) has determined that currently there are insufficient data to recommend either for or against the use of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19”
The statement is false. The Guidelines Panel never considered the issue. The ivermectin recommendation was made by the three co-chairs. A word-game loophole in the bylaws of the NIH allowed for the recommendation to be made without the endorsement of the Guidelines Panel. The loophole is:
“Updates to existing sections that do not affect the rated recommendations are approved by Panel co-chairs without a Panel vote.”
The NIH projected scientific consensus on the ivermectin recommendation while bypassing the Guidelines Panel. NIH deceived the country.
The deception was implicitly acknowledged by a co-chair in response to a comment in Annals of Internal Medicine.
A FOIA request was made to confirm the deception. The request was for all NIH treatment recommendations that were endorsed by a vote of the Guidelines Panel, in the relevant time frame. NIH initially failed to respond to the FOIA request. Following an appeal to the federal court, NIH provided a FOIA response letter. However, the letter was evasive and the court allowed the case to move forward. A second FOIA response letter was provided by the NIH but it is equally evasive. The presiding judge is currently considering a motion by NIH for summary judgement. The judge’s options are to either order the case to be dismissed or order NIH to provide an unambiguous FOIA response.
“COVID-19 vaccines are safe and effective”
So says the CDC. At the same time, the CDC is hiding critical information about the safety of COVID-19 vaccination from the public: the number of deaths following vaccination that were caused by the vaccination. A massive number of deaths following vaccination, 11,225 as of January 10, 2022, have been reported to VAERS. However, the CDC downplays that figure:
“Reports of adverse events to VAERS following vaccination, including deaths, do not necessarily mean that a vaccine caused a health problem.”
Furthermore:
“CDC and FDA clinicians review reports of death to VAERS including death certificates, autopsy, and medical records.”
However, the results from those reviews have not been disclosed; it is unknown how many of those deaths could be attributed to other causes. Furthermore, there is anecdotal evidence that the reviews are not taking place. Without the information on the CDC/FDA followup to the VAERS reports, the public has no way of assessing the risk of death from COVID-19 vaccination. The CDC claim that the vaccines are “safe and effective” is empty until they provide the results of the CDC/FDA reviews of the deaths reported to VAERS. In a word": CDC has provided no evidence of the safety of the COVID-19 vaccines.
CDC claims that the vaccination program took place under “most intense safety monitoring program in U.S. history.” That may be true but the results from that monitoring program have not been made public.
One further point: the number of adverse events reported to VAERS does not represent the maximum number of possible adverse events. In fact, there is no known relationship between the number of adverse events reported to VAERS and the actual incidence of adverse events. VAERS was designed to determine only if there is a risk of an adverse event from vaccination, not the magnitude of the risk. CDC states:
“The number of reports alone cannot be interpreted or used to reach conclusions about the existence, severity, frequency, or rates of problems associated with vaccines.”
Yet CDC reported that death was reported at a rate of 0.0022% following vaccination. That number is meaningless and misleading. Obviously, the number of adverse events reported to VAERS could even underestimate the actual number of adverse events including death caused by vaccination. This emphasized in an article published by the FDA.
“the virus is likely the result of viral evolution in nature”
Then there’s the question of where the virus came from. On that issue, the NIH director released a statement: “The scientific evidence to date indicates that the virus is likely the result of viral evolution in nature …” But at the same time, the NIH is defending itself against the charge that it funded the development of SARS-CoV-2. The statement from the NIH is more than a conflict of interest; it is interference with potential investigations into the origin of SARS-CoV-2.
Conclusions
The case for dismantling of the NIH, FDA and CDC is strong. These agencies are not dysfunctional. These agencies are functioning well … just against the interests of the people. The agencies have been provably deceitful and untrustworthy on every aspect of the pandemic. There is no reason for their existence.
It can even be said NIH, FDA and CDC betrayed the humanity
Amen brother.
