The coming evisceration of the American right

The right has lost its collective mind over the "assassination attempt"

This week, the American public was confronted with two conflicting versions of reality. The first version as propagated by the FBI. Regarding the reality of the “assassination attempt”, the FBI stated:

What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle.

This supported the statement from the candidate that he had sustained a 2-cm wide wound to his ear.

The bullet track produced a 2 cm wide wound that extended down to the cartilaginous surface of the ear.

On the other hand, Trump appeared in public at a meeting of the National Association of Black Journals on July 31 in which there is plainly no wound to the candidate’s ear.

Until now, the American right has chosen to ignore what they see with their own eyes in favor of the Orwellian statements of the government and the candidate.

This is not government censorship. There simply has been no one willing to state the obvious - that the “assassination attempt” was a horrific hoax. This is a discrediting moment for public commentators. There is no political calculus involved. This is simply about the ability to recognize and acknowledge a simple truth - that the Republican presidential candidate is an abject murderous fraud.
