I agree, Peter.

The most notable features of the photo are that the 'streak' has a perfect cylindrical shape, and is in defined segments, with the leading segment being the most telling (a linear cylindrical shape with color barely different from the background). And there's no projectile leading the streak that would be creating the supposed 'vapor trail', even if a 'vapor trail' were possible from a real bullet.

If the streak or trail were blood and tissue from the bullet just having gone through a body part, the spray pattern would be conical in shape, fanning out. So that doesn't fit either.

As a former police officer, supervisor, state-certified municipal police instructor including firearms, and criminal investigator, I've never seen nor heard of a 'vapor trail' from a bullet of any calibre.

Everything about the photo looks photoshopped, and it's not even professionally done. Given the fact that it comes from an obvious deep-state operative, it's crystal clear.

The bullet captured in the comparison photo would surely be going faster, as Trump was reportedly 150 yards away from the shooter, over which difference a bullet would slow considerably. At 150 yards out, a 5.56 would be travelling somewhere in the range of 2200-2700 fps, depending mostly on cartridge/bullet specifics and barrel length. Muzzle velocity would be roughly 15-20% faster than that.

And BTW, has anyone heard any mention from the feds of bullets recovered and matched to the (supposed) shooter's rifle? I've seen no mention from any source that any bullets were recovered from the scene, or even searched for, which is one of the thousand red flags.

Thanks for the comment. I was also wondering/searching for details of the supposed bullets - but did not find anything.

Jon Rappoport just wrote an article today about the missing bullets. I'm not a subscriber so can't read his full article, but he says the FBI never recovered the famous 'ear' bullet, and apparently isn't even trying to find it. If true, that's a blatant indication of a complete coverup and no legitimate investigation.

Thanks. It does make sense that - if there is an investigation - the first order of business is to find that bullet.

Expand full comment

Absolutely, not just the one, but every bullet fired. The order given to the crime scene tech's would be 'nobody goes home until every one of those bullets are recovered'. It's just not possible that any legitimate criminal investigation would release the crime scene without first recovering the bullets. And the next step would be to match each bullet to the firearm that fired it.

Also, they'd know exactly how many rounds Crooks fired (if any), from the spent casings ejected from his AR. I've seen no mention anywhere of spent casings recovered that have been matched to Crooks' gun.

So basically there's no hard evidence yet that Crooks fired any rounds.

Doug Mills seems to be adding a blood smear to the hand after the fact too. I have a post on that. Someone else pointed it out to me after looking at every video he could find.

Guys, you failed to observe that is the second bullet in the photo not the first one. Look at Trump's hand already up! Look at the video of the shotting, in the first fire Trump's hand is down. In the second fire (viewed in the photo) his hand is going up to the ear shoot and his mouth muscles contract as a reaction to the hit.

It is not the third bullet also because his is already ducking this time.

The photographer triggers the bust photos after the first fire and catch the second bullet. Which shows how close was the path of the bullets.

It is not a picture of the bullet. It is a picture of the condensation trail the bullet made as it crossed the image. The condensation trail would be very small and brief as the bullet passed.

The answer is in the reaction AFTER: like Jackie Kennedy crawling out onto the trunk of the limo, he doesn't act like he's afraid that there might possibly be another shooter (or two), which means he KNOWS THAT THERE ISN'T. Which means it's a staged event to create blackmail for Z.E.N. (the Zionist Entertainment Network that owns the building where their political wrestlers put on their political wrestling shows), like they did with the Billy Bush interview: "this mic is ON,right?"

(You DID know the JFK "assassination" was faked, didn't you? See mileswmathis.com for a deep dive on how we know that he planned it himself.)

Nice video. It should be clear that such a vapor trail is not seen in the assassination attempt photo - such a trail is quite long.

We would have to account for environmental conditions. Perhaps it was in the caption---or possibly the video. The presenter did say that it was humid conditions, or something to that effect. Plus, the video is a longitudinal, foreshortened view. The bullet trace in the Trump photo is orthogonal to the camera angle. These all would have to be controlled in a recreation.

Gee, the Reddit photography Thread took the question pretty seriously compared to that gun Thread from which you got banned.

I was told to stick to nutrition today, regarding this topic, -- what if the first three shots were not from an AR15 but were from a sniper rifle with a larger .308 bullet?

My post - kind of messy now, I kept adding more to it. https://open.substack.com/pub/denutrients/p/doug-mills-amazing-photography-revisited?r=os7nw&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Thank you.

What about the possibility that the trail is residue from the injury to Trumps ear. The bullet strikes the ear, bursts a blood vessel and the momentum and slipstream of the bullet sucks the residue (albeit at a much slower speed) behind it creating the trail. This results in the bullet actually being a lot further to the right being heaver and more aerodynamic and restores the synchronization between location of bullet, sound of bullet and reaction by Trump.

Is this a possibility?

Anything is possible - of course. I would point out that the streak that has been attributed to the purported bullet has a very rectangular shape.

Humidity would matter in how long a visible trail persisted.

My issue with the "trail" or "contrail" explanation - the idea that the streak is not the bullet itself - but rather a trail of condensed vapor in its wake - is that this streak is discrete in nature - an abrupt start and stop point - whereas nature tends to prefer fuzzy changes/boundaries.

Awaiting further expert analysis.

That photographer from NYT never goes to Trump rallies.

He would have gotten pictures of Trump's brains splattering out if the bullet had been an inch to Trump's left.

That would have been the same "luck" for the photographer, who also got the pictures of George Bush looking surprised as he was told about the second plane hitting the WTC on 9/11.

Trump's luck was particularly good, though, and did not involve brain-spray..

I greatly appreciate this analysis, though I am not certain about your conclusion that the photo is a fraud. Until now I was wondering if such a photo was even possible.

In my view, the math simply isn't there for the Mills photo - but yes - fairly remarkable development in photography.

Expand full comment

I agree with you that the math is persuasive. The conclusion that the photo is a fraud fits with my inclination to believe that the attempted assassination was a sleight-of-hand hoax. But I reserve conclusive judgment until I have learned more.

If the photo is a fraud then it is strong evidence that the whole event was a psychological operation. Your article deserves much more attention than it’s getting.

Some feedback I have gotten when I requested republication was that this doesn't seem to fit a "narrative".

No doubt it has become the central dogma of Trumpism - that he survived a bona fide assassination attempt - but I sense that assassination-attempt skepticism is a little more widely held than the corporate/social media sphere would lead one to believe.

I tried to edit my post because I caught a typo and accidentally deleted it!

Anyway, I asked if I was the only Conservative who saw the event as political theater.

Yeah, I’m obviously not alone in seeing what reminds me of a clumsy high school play.
